Not really wondering what your favorite RPG is... i'm just looking for a good one for any of the consoles... (GBA, SNES, Sega, NES, etc) I've played almost all of them... but can you give me any reccomendations (outside of pretty much all the Squaresoft or enix games... unless they're fairly obscure, i've played it except maybe few of the Japanese ones)
But please? can someone gimme a reccomendation? I'm outta my mind. I already beat fable, and got everything in it, etc, and i need my rpg fix!

Okay here is to games I liked for the psone Legends of Dragoon and Legend of Legaia. There are both very good games that take more then a couple days to beat. Let me know if you played them.

Alright I got one for ya. Have you ever played Saga Frontier for the psone it alright weird storyline though but I liked it. Well there is the new Star Ocean: till the end of time have you played that and final fanatasy tatics but you have probably played seeing as it is made by square just thought I'd mention it though.
Have you played the Breath of Fire games there good too.

Crono trigger was a good game for the SNES and yes earthbound was awesome. Or id say one of the early finalfantasys unless you have played. FF7 always has good replay or if you havent its a must. Legend of mana is weird but addicting.

ok... lemme address them.
Saga frontier: played it. my friend just got the new(est) one for PS2, but i haven't played that yet. I liked this game. It's a hard game to like, but once you do, You love it. also, it's a squaresoft game.

Star Ocean TtEoT: PLayed it... held my interest for about an hour and a half, and i didn't much care for it. maybe i'll give it another chance. Also, this is an Enix game (well, Squarenix, but an Enix original.)

do i need to go on with tactics... or any of the FF series?

Ok... sorry, i'm being a jack-ass. It's my nature (sorry, these are ALL good games. And good reccomendations. I've just played them)
The same goes for Chrono trigger, Chrono Cross, secret of mana, secret of evermore, legend of mana... etc.

I actually just beat Earthbound, which is why i started this post

Loved the breath of fire games (but isn't there more past 3? i thought there may be, but i haven't seen them ANYWHERE!) but i've played 1, 2, and 3. And i especially loved 1... it was capcom/square working together.

Other games i've played so as to avoid unnecessary reccomendations: E.V.O., Terranigma, Twisted tales of Spike McFang, Actraiser (1, not 2, that one sucked) There was one for genesis i can't remember the name of. The Phantasy star series, Bahamut Lagoon, Tales of phantasia, Grandia 1 &2.

To name a few... I hoping to GOD i haven't just run out of games to play...
PPPLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSEEE give me more!

How about Tales of Symphonia i have not played but I want to. Orphen: Scion of Sorcerey that is another one. Skies of arcadia, Sudeki, and the new Breath of Fire: Dragon Quater those the only ones I can think of post more when I can think of them. B)

lol...

i've played (and LOVED) Xenosaga and xenogears. I didn't much care for orphen, but i think i'll have to give that one another chance... i didn't play it much. I haven't played Sudeki (Wow... one slipped past? I honestly have only heard the name...) I've beaten Tales of Symphonia (Sequal to Tales of Phantasia... a SNES game with a real time battle system similair to star ocean... if you haven't played it, get the patch and rom... it's AWESOME!) PLayed Skies of Arcadia, got about halfway through it, and the battle system was just too slow (expecially the ship battles). That was my biggest complaint about Legend of Dragoon... that, and they said it was gonna blow FF out of the water...

LOVED Super mario RPG. Keep 'em coming guys (and gals!)

How about Vagrant Story??? OR the best snes RPG of the time Was a Japanese 64 mb cart the only one on the snes to hold 64 mb Cant remeber the name right now (ill find and post) it had a real womens voice singing the intro and it combined a detailed story with side scrolling fight sequences kinda like a mix between the FF series Ledgends of Mana and street fighter with a story that will grip you right from the begining, Make sure to get the English translation. As far as other RPG have you tried the Suikedon Series for the playstation #1 and 2 were both great games, But if you wanna burn the midnight oil, Dragon Warrior 7 for the PSone will take you 150 just to get through the first disc (played throughly) and there is three discs, I have a lot more to throw at you if you have played all of these

Speaking of the Dragon Warrior series, how were those games after the first one? Dragon Warrior was the very first RPG I played on the NES and it got me hooked on them. I never tried any of the sequels at all though.

For nostalgic purposes, Terranigma was interesting. Ys can be fun if you more enjoy the hack and slash type RPGs. If a more Tactics oriented thing theres a ton of those i dont feel like digging around to find and list.
