I was just wondering if Squaresoft were going to release any more of the single player games, and if so what consoles will they be on? Not that I don't like MORPGs but I don't like paying to play a game I've already payed for......

Crystal Chronical= Nintendo opening up my gamecube, and shitting in side it.
It was too short, and the fact that I couldn't play some of the multiplayer games with out an Gameboy sucked even more.

I dunno... FF is a pretty good series...

I heard rumors of FF7 remake that is gonna have all the bits they cut out of the original (supposidly 6 CDs originally) does anyone know if it's true?

3/6 and 7 were my favorites.

there are so many games that would be awesome if the reamade em..they need to take all the FF games and MegaMan X games and throw em on the Ps2..id love to see those games redone with todays graphics. i would pay Madcash for that

hell i heard about that a long time ago. But that would rock my face, since FF7s graphics blew dick.

I think for just the fact that the graphics on FF7 sucked, they should be obligated to reamake it to the best possible standards for PS2.

it would rock a lot of square-enix remade those.. Wait, didn't the release the hole series on playstation already? with somewhat redone graphics, and new cut-sences?
And as for the FF7 remake, I think it been confirmed not true. If it was, it'd be nice to have an uncut version and such(no censorship and so forth). However they are making an prequeal sorta for an mobile phone company.

FF7 & 8 were my fave games - 7 particularly - I was a hermit for months with this game

thats final fantasy chronicles your talkin about...the game is only 2 games...one disc is FF4 and the other disc is chrono trigger, the grapics are still the same, the only diffrence is a few cutscenes that were thrown in there.

I think it looks like FF on ZSnes wiv 640 graphics and one of the crappy old engines....... the FMV's are a little stupid though.... but they probibly needed something to fill the disk up......

ummm, the 7 remake rumours were the stupidest rumours ever. No grounds or anything, just wishes of fans. The only rumour that popped up true was that video, and that one's ground was an official announcement!

REviving a bit of an old post... I've been HARDCORE about final fantasy for a long time (Even resorting to wriiting squaresoft an angry lett when i was 12 and i heard FF7 was coming out on playstation... when i had got a N64 because i was anticipating Square to stick with Nintendo... my bad)

I've heard a LOT of rumors fly around about FF7. the truest one is "They are making a movie." I've seen some of the trailers. If you haven't heard about it, nows the time

On another note... i do agree that the series has been going downhill. I personally believe it started with 8. I generally refuse to acknowledge its existance. Mundane story about a whiny idiot, with mediocre gameplay, good but bland graphics, and an overall dissapointing feel. I wept... almost. 9 was only so-so. 10 was fun, but nothing amazing, x-2, haven't even played... and don't really want to. FFO, pretty dissappointing in mmorpg standards. Dark ages of Camelot rocks its socks all the way off. and 12 is supposed to be set in Ivalice, the world of Final fantasy tactics (great game) and Tactics 2 for gba (very dissappointing step down) and it's supposed to have the judges and everything from fft2. which i hated. But i'll give it a shot. Being a skeptic will only get ya so far.

Sadly though, rumor has it that 12 may actually be the "FINAL" fantasy.

last note... in case you were wondering, Kefka was the best villain of all time. He didn't want to rule the world, he just wanted to kill everyone in it... just... to watch them... die. Isn't that just plain evil?

well i found them all pretty much the same, minus small changes like story and graphics. Other than that, its essentially one game told different ways (materia was sweet though, all customizable and shit)

espers were better.... funny things carry accross the games though like Shiva and Ifrit..... lame u couldn't get either holy or meteor in FF7 though
