For anybody who hasn't seen case closed... it's a great anime detective show... it just pisses me off. There is a Main storyline to the whole series, but they tease you with it... they'll wait two weeks, then be like "uh-oh, here's something that may have a bearing on the overall plot!" and then make it entirely irrelevant. That combined with the fact that as soon as they got to a part that definitely was advancing the story, cartoon network restarted the series... friggin typical.

The reason Cartoon Network restarted the series is the same reason they did it for Inuyasha...

They ran out of eps (till recently that is).

Anyway, CN has a very minute amount of eps of Case Closed (about 50 I think). I heard that it has been in production since 1996, and will continue until AT LEAST 2009...

from what i heard, there was some copyright issues with the name detective conan... although on come episodes you so see in the beginning conan in a big circle that says case closed. Whatevuh

CN got through DBZ's 300eps, and still goin on branch off series (though I wear they did some weird shit to GT). They'll do it for more anime too.

my only concern is knowing that i used to be a huge DBZ fan... but i got tired of it around the cell saga... i just lost interest... it didnn't seem that cool to me anymore. I still love all of it through the frieza saga though (even though the whole "5 minutes left" lasted 3 weeks.) my main concern is that Case closed will do the same thing... be cool for the first hundred or so episodes, and then just taper off. It's better to die out than to fade away, and that's why i want it to have an end.

It was really the reason i loved bebop and outlaw star so much... they had a beginning and an end... and they should!

lots of truth to that. But Love Hina certainly didnt get shitty. That god damn show had me glued to the TV for all 28 eps.

True... some can afford to go past that point.

Other should have died a long time ago...

That, sadly, is not unusual for that show.

I think Inuyasha should be cut down some... a good portion of the eps related to the storyline in some way... but not all of them.

I heard from a friend of mine die hard about inuyasha that the cartoon ends before the series does... with no resolution, or anything. they continue it in the manga... talk about assholes.

i personally really dont like case closed.. i think its retarded as hell.

lol i just saw an episode of it. it was okay. definately not my kind of anime.

i watched it all the way up to the episode where he turns back for just that episode and then reverts back, but then i lost track and stopped caring
